Here is a robot designed with busy parents in mind. The iPal Robot measures 3.5 feet tall, about the height of a 5 year old child. It has 3 motors in its neck, arms, fingers, and wrists. The tablet embedded in its chest runs Android applications. As the Guardian reports, the robot can talk with children, answer questions, and provide video chat for parents.
The iPal is designed to keep kids aged 3 to 8 occupied for a couple of hours without adult supervision. What do you think? Would you get one of these for your young ones?
