Meet the RoboSoft24 VCJ: a pneumatic musculoskeletal hand and forearm that can perform a variety of grips. Researchers used MRI data of the human anatomy to recreate the structure of a human forearm and hand. They used 22 artificial muscles to pull this off. It has rigid bones, soft joints and touch sensors. To use this hand, the researchers connected the bones of the hand to pneumatic artificial muscles via tendons.
