THEMIS Gen2.5 Can Manipulate Objects On the Move

Humanoid robots are getting smarter and more agile. They are now even learning how to manipulate objects on the move. Take the THEMIS Gen2.5 for instance: it is a full-size humanoid robot with AI-Augmented Humanoid OS. It combines a whole-body loco-manipulation controller with a navigation and interaction module.

This robot uses new actuators in its hip joints that deliver more torque capacity. It also has 7DOF arms that have 5kg max payload capacity per arm. The above video shows how this robot can move everyday items and even grab a can while moving.
