Unitree G1 & H1 robots are amazing humanoid bots capable of performing a wide variety of tasks. We have covered plenty of videos of them already. OpenWBT explores the idea of teleoperating these robots with an Apple Vision Pro. As the researchers explain, only one person is needed to control the robot to perform walking, grasping, and other moves.
This approach allows control of the lower and upper body. For lower body control, you can get the robot to walk or change body pose. For upper-body control, the robot can follow human hand poses in VR using inverse kinematics.

It allows a single operator to control the robot’s movements like walking and grasping, both in real and simulated environments. Perfect for expanding… pic.twitter.com/au3AOx6UXB
