Meet the Mini Manbo (miniature sunfish): a submersible robot made to inspect a nuclear plant in Fukushima. It can be used to remove nuclear fuel debris underneath the radioactive water. According to the Japan Times, Tepco is planning to send this remotely controlled robot to reactor 3 in mid-July.

The robot weighs 2kg, measuring 13 cm in diameter. It has two cameras, allowing operators to record its progress easily. More info is available here.
