There is no better way to learn about robots and coding than building and programming your own robots. The GrowBot is a project that is worth a shot. It is a Raspberry Pi Zero 2 powered robot with two servos, a camera, an IMU, and 3D printed parts. Art of the Problem has posted a video that shows what it takes to build a robot like this. A small simulation-trained neural network was used to enable the robot how to walk, stand and spin more naturally. A vision language model controls the motors. The robot reads its sensor data, controls its own code and builds profiles of people it meets.
