Meet Abel: a humanoid robot designed to read and react to human emotions. It has the appearance of a 12 year old boy. The aim is to use robots like to keep people with autism company. As EuroNews explains, Abel’s frame and head structure was welded by Dutch animatronic designer, Gustav Hoegen.
