The TurtleBot 4 is a mobile robot designed for researchers and developers. It has an iRobot Create 3 robot base and uses a Raspberry Pi 4 computer running Ubuntu, ROS 2 and on-board sensor drivers. It also has a 2D LiDAR and front-facing stereo camera. It can be expanded with additional sensors and modules.
TurtleBot 4 ships with ROS 2 pre-installed. As the above video shows, it can use a 360 degree RPLIDAR A1 to map environment. It uses the Nav2 package for smart navigation. The mobile base has max payload capacity of 9kg.
