Meet Stanford’s OceanOneK robot: an underwater humanoid robot that brings human touch, vision, and interactivity under water. It has a humanoid top half and slim back half with 8 multi-directional thrusters for maneuverability. It has a haptic or touch-based feedback system.
The OceanOneK is designed to explore areas not touched before and bring touch/vision/human interaction to hard to reach areas where people can’t operate. The above video shows it in action.
