
Robots are getting a lot better in soccer. Every year we see improvements in various competitions. Researchers have come up with a Unitree G1 system for sustained humanoid dribbling. It perceives the ball with LiDAR but without a motion capture sensor and external tracking. The policy for this robot is trained in simulation.
