This Robot Learned to Do a Kickflip

Robots riding a skateboard and maintaining their balance while doing tricks is much more complicated than it sounds. It seems researchers have pulled it off. This video shows an upcoming paper about the Blind Skateboarder. This is the first robot that can do kickflips. The paper hasn’t been released yet but the video shows a humanoid robot doing this trick on a skateboard and pulling it off for the most part, if you ignore the very end.
