Testing Out JPL’s New Snake Robot

Here is a snake robot that can one day explore the surface of other planets in our solar system. JPL’s Snake Robot EELS can autonomously map, traverse and explore challenging areas on Earth. It can operate in snowy, sandy, and icy environments.
