Those of you who have borrowed books from a library in the past have had to deal with the hassle of returning them. BookBot is a robot that aims to help with the problem. A creation of Google’s Area 120, this robot can pick up library books and return them to the library.

Meet BookBot: Mountain View library’s newest robot helper
As the above video shows, this robot has been picking up and delivering books to the Mountain View Public Library since late February. In the future, such a robot can be used to second-hand items for charities.
