Robots are going to do many things for us in the future. They are already being used to fight fires. MARS Laboratory have published a video that shows a Spot robot using a Novel vision-based fire segmentation system to explore unknown spaces to detect and extinguish a fire with a extinguisher. As the researchers explain, they used a hybrid color space and image segmentation model for locating fires.
