X Square has shown how 6-axis robot arms with WALL-B AI foundation model sorted 1,816 mixed parcels at 98%+ accuracy (in comparison to Figure’s robot that averaged 1248 parcels per hour).
X Square just beat Figure’s package-sorting pace by ~45%—without a humanoid.

As the company explains, the robot’s multi-angle range of motion enables it to pick and flip packages from different directions. WALL-B is a proprietary model that enables the robot to respond to unexpected situations it could face in the real world.
