Robots are already being used to help businesses save money. They can help with packing product bags. This system relies on 4 x FANUC LR Mate 200iD/7L robots with iRVision to handle bagged almonds. These robots pick the bags with a fork style tool. As Fanuc explains:

The bliss trays are tilted at the loading station in order to prevent almonds from settling to the bottom of the bags allowing the system to pack more bags into display trays compared to a manual operation.
With this system, throughput and efficiency are heavily improved. In the meantime, it keeps humans from doing repetitive tasks and heavy lifting.
