Robots are going to do many things for us in the healthcare industry. We have already covered a bunch of them that can transport supplies and perform surgeries. As this video shows, they can also fully automate blood collection. Users will simply have to insert their arm into the machine, the robot identifies blood vessel, applies disinfectant and draws blood.

This is by no means a new idea. Aletta is an autonomous robot that can collect blood on its own. It can place the tourniquet and apply a bandage.
