Here is a gel-like robot inspired by sea slugs and snails. It has a soft body and is steered with light. This bio-inspired robot can deform inside water to crawl, walk, jump, and swim. Researchers at the Max Planck Institute for Intelligent Systems in Stuttgart and Tampere University in Finland cooperated on this project.
