Meet Rosie: a smart robot that roams and interacts with people at KTH’s Robotics, Perception, and Learning lab in Stockholm. Its mission is to map the space in 3D. That applies to all movable and stationary objects. As the robot spends time in the building, it learns when rooms are open to her and understands how to perceive depth and distance.
The goal is to make more intelligent robots to spend time around humans.
