Robots are getting smarter all the time. Without the right models, it is not easy for them to react to changing conditions though. This video shows AGILE from AGIBOT: it is a perception-locomotion foundation model that enables AGIBOT X2 to dodge balls like a pro. It can also go up and down the stairs with agility. As this video shows, this humanoid robot can now pick up heavy items autonomously.
For those of you not familiar with this robot, it can perform complex dance routines. It relies on LiDAR, RGB-D cameras and other sensors for proactive obstacle avoidance.
