This is the CERNquadbot: a 4-legged robot that can take on challenging conditions. This robot dog was recently used to complete a radiation survey in CERN’s largest experimental area. It can enter cluttered areas to capture data. It can be deployed in experimental caverns with stairs where wheeled robots can’t go.
