Remember ANYmal? It is a quadrupedal robot with autonomous navigation system for challenging environments. It can plan its path and select footholds while walking. It can do even more with thermal cameras, microphones, and other sensors.
This video from Robotic Systems Lab shows the robot using an elevator. ANYmal uses its range of motion to reach up and press the appropriate button, which is localized with a QR tag.
