This is the WiXus: a wire-driven wheeled-legged robot that can use its legs as arms to manipulate objects and use tools. Regular robots that have wheels can move with agility but can’t use their legs to manipulate things around them. It has a special mechanism to anchor to its environment. It uses 4 wires to get that done. An additional wire is used for tool attachment. The below video shows this robot in action.
