We all would love to know what’s in store for us a few decades from now. Current predictions suggest a very exciting future for travelers though. Futurist Dr. James Canton of the Institute for Global Futures and Hotels.com have partnered to suggest how travel will be different in a few decades.
By 2060, we are going to have autonomous robots to greet and take care of guests at the airport, offering entertaining, room makeup, and companionship. We could even have hotels that self-assemble and change design based on customer votes. 3D printers will be available to print shoes, computers, wearable devices, and everything in between. All hotel rooms will be full of smart sensors.
