Meet the TiltSort-Bot: an autonomous parcel sorting robot with a modular design that can move at up to 3 meters per second. These robots have a tilt tray top. Operators simply have to place items on them to get started. As the company explains:
The camera above instantly reads the barcode and the bot is routed to its order chute via the shortest path. When the TiltSort-Bot reaches the order chute, the tray rises allowing the item to go down the chute. Each chute represents a sortation destination.
