Meet the SwarmRail: a robotic solution for overhead manipulation from a mobile unit in an above ground rail structure. It is based on an omnidirectional mobile platform and has a robotic manipulator arm under for manipulation tasks.
This robot allows continuous overhead manipulation while moving on rail crossings. It can be operated in a robot swarm. The above video shows it in action.
