Getting robots ready for space exploration is a lot of work. The environment is not going to be always easy to navigate. This video from Robotic Systems Lab explores a static and dynamic locomotion on Mars analog slopes up to 25 degrees. The SpaceBok quadrupedal robot was used with dynamic walking to overcome steep slopes.
