Self-driving trucks are coming. We already know Mercedes-Benz and other companies are working on them. This video shows a self-driving truck from Otto, which was recently purchased by Uber, delivering 45000 beers after a 120-mile journey. Drivers don’t have to steer the vehicle but they will have to load the freight.
The truck simply drives itself down the road with no driver in the front seat. More info is available here.
