Sawyer Cobot with SoftGripper for Food Handling

In the past few years, we have covered plenty of grippers can be used for food handling. They can be used with many top industrial robots. Take Sawyer for instance: it is a cobot with digital inputs and 8 digital outputs that can be used to control conveyor belts and other devices. With a SoftGripper, this 7-axis robot can handle food products.

As the above video shows, Sawyer uses a 2D camera in its arm to locate objects and pick them up. It can move fragile items without causing any damage.
