Robots are going to take many of our jobs in the future. They are particularly helpful when it comes to performing repetitive, difficult tasks. Fraunhofer IPA has developed a workstation that can be docked with a manual workstation, allowing a safe human-robot collaboration.
Such a system make it easier for manufacturers to handle assembly tasks with both humans and assistive robots. More information is available here.
