Pleurobot Robot with 3D Printed Bones Mimics Vertebrate Motion

Here is a robot that mimics the way salamanders walk and swim. Pleurobot has 3D-printed bones, motorized joints and an electronic nervous system. It has 27 motors and 11 segments with accurate movements based on the 3D motion of the animal’s skeleton.
