Autonomous cars are becoming more sophisticated every year. Roborace is Roborace’s autonomous race car that relies on NVIDIA DRIVE PX 2, LiDAR, radar, GPS, and camera sensors to take on tracks autonomously. It is powered by four 135kW electric motors.
Roborace is going to take on Goodwood’s 1.16-mile track guided only by its smart system. As Roborace explains:
Robocar will be tasked with navigating hay bales, flint walls and forests on the Duke of Richmond’s estate, using a variety of sensors that give it 360-degree machine vision around the car.
