The Flexiv Rizon is an adaptive robot with a payload of 10kg and 1000mm that can perform tasks in changing conditions. Researchers from Stanford Biomimetics and Dexterous Manipulation Lab have combined it with a hybrid electrostatic and gecko gripping pad for manipulating bulky, non-smooth items.
