Getting multiple drones to fly around one another while avoiding collision is nothing new. Georgia Tech researchers have taken idea to another level by creating a team of quadcopters that swarm safely in tight formations by obeying two rules: avoid collision or undercutting each other.
These drones also know not to fly underneath to avoid messing up the airflow.
