In the past few years, we have covered plenty of robotic combat vehicles from Milrem Robotics. The company is now working to develop the Nordic Robotic Wingman with Kongsberg Defence & Aerospace. It will be based on the Type-X RCV and KONGSBERG’s PROTECTOR Remote Turrets.
The Type-X can be fitted with a cannon up to 50mm, anti-tank missiles, and a tethered drone for situational awareness. It has follow-me, waypoint navigation, and other smart functions with AI.
