Miso Robotics has come up with another cost saving robot for high volume restaurants. The Flippy Wings is a robot that fries chicken wings. It can cook more food with less waste while allowing staff members to work on more important tasks. Here is how the system works:
Flippy Wings includes an all-new AutoBin system which provides kitchen staff an array of food-safe bins where products are dropped to be cooked. AI vision automatically identifies the food, then Flippy Wings picks up, cooks and drops it off into a hot holding area.
As the company explains, the first unit, called Wingy, is currently installed at the Inspire Brands Innovation Center in Atlanta, Georgia. More information is available here.
