Robots are going to be used in the future to care for seniors in our society. Take MiRO for instance. It is a robo-dog that can make emergency calls when its owner is in trouble. It can notice a break in the owner’s routine to alert others. MiRO has an advanced brain to learn from its surroundings and develop a unique personality.
The robot has been designed to be friendly and approachable. It was designed by SCA in conjunction with Sheffield University.
