Meet Loomo from Segway Robotics: a development platform consisting of a robot that can transform from a self-balancing transporter into an autonomous robot. It comes with an Intel RealSense camera and host of features for development. Developers can access the robot’s vision, speech, locomotion, connectivity, and hardware extension features.
Thanks to its camera and advanced sensors, Loomo can be programmed to perform a variety of tasks. According to Segway, beta kits will be available later this year.
