Here is a robotic screwdriver that can get the job done fast. KUKA developed this in cooperation with DEPRAG and Igus. A LBR iisy cobot was used to pull this off. The robot has integrated joint torque sensors that make handguiding easy. The high precision screwdriver from DEPRAG combined with the AST40 screwdriving controller make it easy to program the screw tightening process.
As you can see in the above video, screwdriver torques, speeds, waiting times and direction of rotation can be individually customized.
