DOFEC Fire Extinguishing Drone

Fire extinguishing drones and robots are nothing new. We have covered a whole host of them here in the past. The DOFEC (Discharging Of Fire Extinguishing Capsules)) is also worth a look. It is an autonomous drone that can take on dangerous fires. It uses on-board sensors to autonomously extinguish building fires from the outside. It uses thermal images to detect and localize fire to discharge a fire extinguishing ampoule.
