Here is another kit for those of you interested in building your own robots. The DFRobot Bionic Robot Hand is made up of acrylic and has 5 micro metal servos. Every finger can be controlled independently. You can interact with the hand from your PC thanks to a 24 channel Veyron servo driver.
You can control the bionic hand by Arduino. It can handle objects up to 500g.
