Circular cross-section Crawler Robots Can Move on Lawn, Braille Blocks

In the past few years, we have covered a whole host of robots with omnidirectional wheels. Tada Lab & NEDO have developed a circular cross-section crawler mechanism that enables robots to move on braille blocks, lawn, and other uneven surfaces more easily.

Robots equipped with this feature can move on areas where wheels are not ideal. They can handle up to 30-degree angles. The above video shows this robot in action.
