We have covered the humanoid Atlas robot a lot in the past. This video shows Atlas balancing on a line contact 2cm thick. As the developers explain, the robot doesn’t maintain its balance for this long and the shaking is due to “poor state estimation.”
The control algorithm is developed by IHMC.
