Prosthetic hands are getting smarter all the time. UC Berkeley researchers have created a new wearable device that combines wearable biosensors with AI to recognize what hand gestures a person intends to make. An armband to control prosthetic hands

The flexible armband reads the electrical signals at 64 different points on the forearm. The AI algorithm used to analyze the data is capable of associating these signal patterns in the forearm with specific hand gestures.
