Experiencing zero gravity can be a lot of fun. It could pose a challenge to robots though. Olympus, a four-legged robot developed and built by Jørgen Anker Olsen, recently had the chance to experience simulated microgravity. The idea was to test the robot to see how it would move in those conditions. This kind of research is necessary to see how robots would perform on Mars and other planets with much weaker gravity.

Olympus can move on another planets surface and explore underneath it. For this test, the robot was mounted upside down to a floating platform.
