Meet the SixthFinger: a soft, wearable EMG controlled robotic finger that allows stroke patients and others dealing with an impairment of the hand grasping function to grab items, lift, and move them. This wearable device gives patients more independence.

The device acts like a bracelet when not in use. It has a wireless EMG interface with portability. The SixthFinger simply serves as an extra finger to make life easier for the wearer. Irfan Hussain has more information on this project.
