The Japanese Volleyball Association’s Volleyball Blocking Robot comes with 3 arms and moves at a speed of 3.7 meters per second. As New Scientist reports, this robot is fast enough to position and block attacks. Coaches can choose different drills to challenge their players.
These robots can also be used to help players fix mistakes they have made in the past.
