The entire world is struggling to contain COVID19 these days. Robots and drones are going to play vital roles in helping us preventing spread of the disease and detecting people who have them. UniSA is working on a pandemic drone to detect Coronavirus.

The drone comes with a sensor and computer vision to monitor temperature, heart, and respiratory rates. It can detect when people sneeze and cough. Heart rate and breathing rate can be measured with high accuracy within 5-10 meters with drones.
