Plenty of robots are inspired by nature these days. Researchers from Cornell University have developed an underwater jumping robot that uses its two appendages to leap above the surface of the water. To develop this robot, researchers studied the physics of jumping aquatic creatures.
Such a robot can be used in rivers in the future to find and capture location of toxic chemicals.
