A bunch of companies are working on realistic companion robots. Take the UBTECH U1 robot: it is a humanoid robot with a customizable look and built-in emotional AI model. It will be available in male and female models, which stands 1.83 and 1.68m respectively. These robots will have WiFi connectivity and up to 88 degrees of freedom.
